How much does a Genjutsu AI video cost? Price per clip

Genjutsu AI is billed per second of your clip. Here is what a 5- or 10-second video costs in credits and in dollars, for every mode, pack and plan.

On GenjutsuAIVideo.com you pay for the seconds you render, not for a monthly allowance you may not use. Every render costs credits, and the editor shows the exact number on the Generate button before you press it. This guide turns those credits into dollars, so you know what one video costs before you buy anything.

Short answer: a 5-second clip costs about $1.35–$2.08 in Standard Swap, $2.70–$4.16 in Pro at 480p and $5.93–$9.15 in Pro at 720p, depending on which pack or plan you buy the credits with. The cheapest way in is the $4.99 trial pack.

How credits are counted

Three things set the price of a render:

  1. Length. You pay per second of your clip, rounded up to whole seconds. A 4.2-second clip is billed as 5 seconds. The length is measured from the file on our server, never typed in.
  2. Mode. Standard runs lighter models (Kling O3, FLUX.3 Edit); Pro runs the Higgsfield Genjutsu model through its official API.
  3. Effect and resolution. In Pro, 720p costs a little over twice as much as 480p, and Restyle costs a bit more than Swap or Motion transfer.

What a credit costs

Credits come in one-time packs or monthly plans. The bigger the bundle, the less each credit costs (prices as of October 2026; the pricing page always has the current ones):

OptionPriceCreditsPer 100 credits
Trial pack (one per account)$4.99 once300$1.66
Creator pack$11.90 once750$1.59
Pro pack$24.90 once1,790$1.39
Lite plan$9.90 / month800$1.24
Plus plan$19.90 / month1,750$1.14
Max plan$39.90 / month3,700$1.08

Pack credits last 365 days. A plan's credits are for that month and don't roll over; plans renew monthly until you cancel in Settings → Billing.

Price per clip in dollars

Putting the two tables together, here is what one 5-second clip costs, from the trial pack (dearest per credit) to the Max plan (cheapest):

5-second clipTrial packCreator packPlus planMax plan
Standard Restyle$0.83$0.79$0.57$0.54
Standard Swap / Motion$2.08$1.98$1.42$1.35
Pro 480p Swap / Motion$4.16$3.97$2.84$2.70
Pro 480p Restyle$4.99$4.76$3.41$3.24
Pro 720p Swap / Motion$9.15$8.73$6.25$5.93

A 10-second clip costs twice as much. To check a clip of your own length, the cost estimator on the pricing page does the maths for any duration.

What you are not charged for

  • Failed renders. If a submitted render fails, is blocked by the model's moderation or is confirmed canceled, its credits come back automatically.
  • Rejected requests. A prompt or file rejected before it is sent to the model costs nothing.
  • Trimming and converting. Cutting a clip or converting an iPhone .mov to MP4 runs in your browser, for free.
  • Improve prompt. Rewriting your prompt is free for signed-in users, up to 20 times a day.

One thing that is charged: a render that finishes is paid for even if you don't like the result. That's why the next section matters.

How to spend less per finished video

  • Trim first. Every second counts, so cut the clip to the moment you need before you render.
  • Draft in Standard or Pro 480p. Test your reference and prompt cheaply, then render the keeper at 720p.
  • Write what should stay. Most re-renders come from the model changing something you didn't mention. "Keep the face, the background and the camera movement" saves credits.
  • Pick a plan if you render every week. The Lite, Plus and Max plans cost 22%, 28% and 32% less per credit than the Creator pack, and the bigger the plan, the bigger the saving.

Is there a free option?

No. Every render runs on a paid video model, so there are no free credits at sign-up. The Genjutsu AI free page answers that question in more detail. The $4.99 trial pack is the cheapest way to make a real render: one 5-second Pro clip at 480p, or two 5-second Standard Swaps.

GenjutsuAIVideo.com is an independent service and is not affiliated with Higgsfield. Pro mode calls the Genjutsu model through its official API, and every mode in the editor is labelled with the model it runs. Open the editor to see the exact cost of your own clip before you pay anything.
